Growing up, Heather Stephens was always involved in her parents’ plumbing business, Quality Plumbing. It was there where she quickly realized her love for designing beautiful places. Not long after her first role in the family business, she set out to improve the lives of people in her North Central Florida community by learning to create awe-inspiring yet practical home renovation designs.

Heather got her Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer (AKBD) degree in the Spring of 2017 and is now a proud member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA). Her other schooling includes Leadership Development and Communication studies at the University of Florida.

As a seventh-generation Floridian, Heather had plenty of reasons to stay around after college. Her love for her family and small-town life kept her right in North Central Florida, where she grew up. It was also here where her studies and passion for designing all types of home remodeling projects flourished into what is now Quality DesignWorks. Here, she designs everything from lavish bathroom remodels to simple home additions for growing families.

Heather favors modern design techniques featuring clean lines, symmetry, and minimal décor. She loves the elegance of layered patterns, open-layout designs, and traditional aesthetics, the latter of which is her clients’ favorite style. Nevertheless, Heather is not afraid to be bold and go outside of her comfort zone. Regardless of what design method is needed, Heather prides herself in genuinely reflecting the tastes of her clients. She is continuously striving to ensure her designs remain practical, affordable, comfortable, and beautiful.

When she isn’t working, Heather enjoys traveling, exercising, and spending time with her loved ones most of all. Her passion for turning houses into homes has always been inspired by her family life back home, and the small-town architectural style of Central Florida. Heather’s designs often replicate the serenity and coziness of her home town. This is not to say her design methods are stuck in the past, however. Heather is continuously keeping up with the ever-changing and evolving design industry, and she is not afraid of working outside the box.
