Our kitchen renovation was much anticipated and after getting estimates from three local sources, we chose Quality DesignWorks. We are so happy we did as their professionalism and expertise was evident at the very start. They listened to our wishes and description of our lifestyle and implemented a beautiful and functional design while at the same time staying within our budget. The beginning process was detailed with offerings via grid layouts of the changes to our existing kitchen. It helped immensely in conceptualizing the finished product. Heather and Bob were extremely helpful in selecting flooring, counter tops, cabinetry and sinks/faucets. From the office staff (Hannah) to the field crew (Danny, Joe, Chris & Chris, Luis) and the flooring (Ryan) and counter (sorry I can't remember their names) installers, everyone, without exception, were great to work with. Danny is a perfect person as site manager/coordinator extraordinaire. His demeanor and communication skills were superb. And Joe...we thought of as a "Macgyver". He could figure out anything! Everyone and we mean, everyone worked together as a team. We had a couple of delays (on our end) and also made two change orders which were dealt with seamlessly. They shared ideas; helped each other without complaint; cleaned up spotlessly every day; we could go on and on. We definitely will use Quality DesignWorks in the future and recommend them wholeheartedly.

Bob Amar and colleagues provided a complete kitchen remodel to our 70's galley kitchen which was original to the home. He was very knowledgeable and quickly understood what we were trying to achieve. He met with us and came to the house with the other team members to be sure our selections worked well with the house. He recommended Greenfield cabinets and we couldn't be more pleased. We actually went to the warehouse and selected the granite. All personnel there went out of their way to assist us with the decisions. Suggestions were provided that were invaluable and when we made a request ( no white flooring!) it was acknowledged and incorporated into the design. I never felt overwhelmed or intimidated. The general contractor was also very knowledgeable and friendly and worked with us on the time line as we sustained both a leaky roof and family emergency in the middle of the construction. Project was completed promptly. Site was clean and orderly with very little disruption. Would absolutely hire them again without reservation. It was more expensive than "Big Box" stores, but absolutely worth it.

After many years of discussing the need for updating our late 1970’s constructed home, we finally decided to go ahead with the project. We contacted three different contractors, including Quality Design Works of Alachua, Florida. One of the contractors we asked for a quote from had done work for us in the past; Quality and the other had not. We finally settled on Quality Design Works for several reasons. First of all was the fact that they have a showroom where a potential customer can actually look at and examine various styles, grades, finishes, etc. of the cabinets, counter tops, flooring and whatever else you might need to make your renovation/remodeling project come to life. The other contractors we dealt with would tell you something on the order of "I have a local guy in who makes cabinets and he will get together with you on what you want". With Quality Design there was no question as to what you were getting. Also, and this is something very important to us, Quality Design's suppliers of cabinetry, flooring, etc., were AMERICAN companies -- not some stuff from China. Our cabinets, for example, were made in Indiana. Another reason we went with Quality Design was that they kept you up to date on what was happening with your project. They were up front on the cost -- not that the other contractors wouldn't have been, but they gave us an itemized, step by step accounting of what we were getting. And if we decided to modify the original plan, they allowed us that option and adjusted the cost accordingly. There was little or no confusion as to what the cost would be. A third reason we liked dealing with Quality Design was the friendliness and helpfulness of the showroom staff, Bob Amari and Heather Nazworth, who not only showed us different products while in the planning stages of the project, but also would offer suggestions when we were uncertain that often either allowed us to come to a decision or gave us a different way to look at something. As this was the first renovation/remodeling project we had ever undertaken, the choices and decisions could be almost overwhelming at times. But Bob and Heather were patient and understanding and we never really felt that we were pressured to make a choice, knowing that they had to have time to order things for the project, set their work crews who were busy with other projects besides ours and so on. Finally, the various subcontractors and employees they hired for our project were by and large very professional, friendly, and very cooperative in those areas of the renovation that they handled. A couple of them come to mind -- Joe, who tore apart the kitchen with his assistant Louis and then installed the new cabinets, appliances, etc; and Danny, who was the overall ramrod and catch all man to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. If there was a complaint about any of the sub contractor's work it would be with the plasterer who had to come out to redo some of his work. But all in all, they were all top notch, and a credit to the company. We want to say that we would highly recommend Quality Design Works for any renovation/remodeling project you might be considering. While they are not the cheapest contracting firm around for this, the advantages of the showroom, their staff, their contractors, etc. more than makes up for any additional expense. We are reminded of a famous quote that well sums up how we feel about Quality Design: "There is hardly anything in the world that some men can't make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and the people who consider price only are this man's lawful prey" [John Ruskin]. You could certainly get someone to do what we did cheaper, but the result we have from Quality Design Works leaves us with no regrets.

I selected this company on the recommendation of a coworker and because I also used the services of their plumbing branch. I was very pleased with the designer, Mr. Amar, who came to the house and listened carefully when I explained what I wanted updated in my 1978 kitchen and produced an excellent design and estimate within a few days! I went to the showroom and was able to select my cabinets and hardware and order them and was assured that the crew would meet my deadline (I wanted the work completed before my daughter arrived Oct 9)! I made another visit to the showroom to meet with the very helpful staff (Ruth & Heather) to select countertop material, light fixtures, and backsplash tile, faucet, and light fixtures - went very smoothly! Demolition started on time (Sept 9) and the job was finished on time (Oct 8) and the final product was absolutely stunning, I couldn't be happier (and my daughter was blown away when she saw it!)!! Would recommend them unconditionally!

This company completely remodeled our kitchen. They removed soffit, put in new cabinets, granite counters, and a subway tile backsplash. We love the quality and color of the cabinets installed. The company is very customer service oriented and took care of any issues or concerns we had in a timely manner. I felt we could trust this company to do good work and they came through. We are very happy with the quality of cabinets installed and the new design of the kitchen is excellent. I would hire Quality DesignWorks again for sure.

We totally gutted our master bathroom, to include breaking into an adjacent bedroom, to enlarge the bathroom. We worked together with Quality DesignWorks to come up with a design that addressed everything we wanted. The staff listened and made suggestions based on what we were looking for. We LOVE the end project! It is everything we wanted. The project required re-working electrical wiring and plumbing, due to the fact that this was the original bathroom to a 50 plus year old home. The various contractors used on this project were "user" friendly and were very good at their specific work. The staff at Quality DesignWorks were very respectful and for the most part very responsive to issues that arised, but certainly quick to deal with any concerns that we had. We at NO point hit a brick wall with this project, and the project was completed within the specified time that was stated. We would without a doubt use Quality DesignWorks again for our remodeling needs.
